Route 66 history
Why 7th Street is part of the Route 66 story
Victorville grew alongside U.S. Route 66 after the highway was established in 1926. The City of Victorville says portions of Seventh Street and D Street became part of the historic roadway, bringing travelers, shops, diners and roadside stops into Old Town.
San Bernardino County identifies Route 66 in Victorville as 7th Street. Casa Mia Bistro's address at 14958 7th Street places the restaurant directly on that local corridor.
